c-UL Mark is the UL Mark for Canada. Meaning UL will conduct all the tests for UL and also will conduct the test for Canada and will allow you to put the UL and c-UL mark on your product. With the c-UL Mark you can sell your product in Canada with no problem, just like CSa approval.
There is more than 2000 manufacturers and more than 20,000 products are using c-UL Mark. From Last 3 years c-UL Mark is very well recognized in the Industry.
There are quite a few benefits to use c-UL Mark, some of them are:
- One application fee for UL and c-UL approval.
- One Follow-Up-Service (FUS) fee for the inspector.
- One contact person for all the modifications, and
- Less work for applicant, Manufacturer and agent.

NRTL stands for National Recognized Testing Lab. NRTL Mark is the CSA Mark for USa. Meaning CSA will conduct all the tests for CSA and also will conduct the test for USA and will allow you to put the CSA and NRTL mark on your product. With the NRTL Mark you can sell your product in USA with no problem, just like UL approval.
NRTL Mark is not very well recognized in the Industry. There are not too many manufacturers using this mark, some of the Canadian manufacturers are using NRTL Mark
