Introducing a Cost Effective, Easy-to-Use, Computer Vision Solution - NaViSense
NaViSense uses computer vision, a form of artificial intelligence where computers can “see” the world, analyze visual data, and then make decisions from it to gain understanding about the environment and customer behavior.
Learn how Sharp’s NaViSense uses edge-computing to deliver key, environmental datapoints to drive business insights, including customer attributes, people counting, and more.
NaViSense by Sharp, uses video sensors to gather anonymous customer attributes.
This data can be as simple as people counting and age/gender or more complex such as wait time, clothing type and color, brand logos, luggage type/size, etc. The anonymous data is processed at the edge and sent to the clients' secure data store for dashboarding and further analysis. We take the guesswork out of understanding the customer base, the “where and how” of their time in the company’s space so that decisions regarding advertising, staffing, and inventory can be made based on factual data.
Customers can start small with minimal risk and grow into the full solution. This solution is open format using JSON and REST API and can feed the data directly to the customer's preferred secure database on premise or in the cloud, making it easy to extract the metrics they desire for dashboarding or deeper analysis. Additional capabilities can be added based on the requirements customers demand, such as dwell time, logo detection, vehicle type etc. A model can be made for nearly any object the human eye can detect.
